Lyttelton Community House (LCH) has been providing services and
support to the Lyttelton community, meeting the needs of
our most vulnerable community members since 2008.
Our community house at Whakaraupō/Lyttelton continues
to aid and strengthen the community by providing social,
economic, health and educational support to our people. We
aim to provide a welcoming and peaceful space that is
nurturing, inclusive and co-creative.

Lyttelton Community House is a Charitable Trust, that provides a place to meet, a
weekly shared meal, facilitates community activities such as coffee mornings, links with
seniors and children and encourages the participation of local people to support each
other and share knowledge.

A welcoming space for drop-in Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday from 10am
to 2pm – companionship, tea and coffee, internet access and newspapers.
Community lunch open to the local community at 12 noon every Thursday.

Meal delivery 5 days per week, for people who cannot easily provide their own meals.
We regularly have guest speakers, lady’s high teas, craft groups and Over 65s outings.
Foodbank and tech support available.
Firewood available for purchase.
