Juliet has over a thousand books on topics ranging from strengthening community, sustainability, food and gardening, caring for the environment, climate change, economics and politics, health (mind and body), local (Christchurch, Lyttelton, Banks Peninsula), and books for young readers and learners.
There are also DVDs and magazines on many of the same topics.
Juliet Adams (pictured) a passionate advocate for the planet started the LIFT Library in 2012 in association with Living Economies Educational Trust.
The Living Economies Educational Trust is a nationwide organization aiming to strengthen and help sustain regional economies in local communities. Many of the books and DVDs have been supplied by Living Economies.
Juliet welcomes the chance to chat to anyone wanting to learn more about what we can do about the global challenges we face together.
