Governors Bay to Allandale Track

This track can be walked in either direction,  as there is parking at both ends.  You can start beside the Governors Bay jetty at the end of Jetty Road, and go to Allandale Reserve. It's a gentle stroll around the harbour foreshore along a wide, gravelled track, suitable for all ages and fitness levels, and it is also suitable for buggies.  Dogs are allowed on a lead.

Great views of the harbour all the way to the heads.

30 minutes and approximately 2 km one way

No beaches here but it's good for spotting birdlife on the mudflats.

Please note: this is a shared-use track – bikes may be encountered. 

At the Allendale end there is a picnic site and a tolite at the Allandale Reserve.
